Viviana began her Canadian legal career as a Judicial Clerk at the Court of King’s Bench in Calgary, where she gained invaluable insight into courtroom procedures and the practical workings of the legal system.Since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2014, she has focused solely on family law, and prior to opening her own practice, she worked as an associate at Knight and Pritchett LLP and Leamy Family Lawyers.

 

With experience practicing in two legal systems and her background within the courts, Viviana brings a versatile and pragmatic perspective to her work and has appeared before both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of  King’s Bench of Alberta. Her practice is grounded in a client-centred, solution-focused approach, with an emphasis on clear, practical advice, efficient and cost-effective service, and guiding clients through difficult transitions with empathy and professionalism. Her focus is on achieving fair, durable outcomes, whether through negotiation and settlement or, when necessary, strong and thoughtful courtroom advocacy. Clients often describe her as attentive, dedicated, and supportive, noting her ability to listen carefully, explain options clearly, and remain committed throughout challenging processes.

 

Outside of work, Viviana enjoys walking, painting, going to the movies, and spending time with her family, which helps keep her grounded and connected to what matters most.
